Winter Robin

Here is a tiny English Robin waiting for the weather to warm up.  So far this year it has been a mild winter here in southern England and we're all hoping it stays that way.  Well, perhaps the children would like to see some of the white stuff but personally, I'm happy just the way it is.

Sometimes you can find inspiration from the most simple of compositions.  I wanted to paint something to suit the season and thought my little red mitts would be a fitting subject.
